Founded by Natalie Silk, Village Mentality utilises the language of games, crafts, food, nature and storytelling to design and make environments and experiences that nurture a sense of mutual belonging through fun, sharing, exchange and connection: building new traditions as we go…

The approach is cross generational, about bringing people together, listening, exploring traditions, and finding common ground: with community exchange and creative health at its heart.

Natalie studied comparative literature and environmental art in Glasgow. Her creative practice is wide-ranging and constantly evolving. She is a community organiser and certified experience designer, currently practices therapeutic and reflective writing, and is a member of Lapidus International. Natalie is also a trained basketmaker.
